How Mimik Call Recording App Works

If you are in a country that supports automatic call recording (such as the US and Canada), simply enter the phone number or choose a contact using our dialer. Once you have selected the person you want to record a call with, we will initiate a call to their phone number and automatically start the recording process.

If you are in a country that does not support automatic call recording, you can still record calls by utilizing our 3-way calling system. To do this, your carrier must allow for conference calls. Please note that some carriers, such as SimpleTalk and H20 Wireless in the US, as well as EE in the UK (for new plans), do not currently offer this feature.

For automatic call recording, simply enter the user's phone number or select a contact and press the call button in our Mimik App to begin the recording process.

For manual call recording, open Mimik and press the record button. We will put your call on hold and dial our recording line. Once our line answers, tap the merge button on your screen to create a 3-way call between your caller and our recording line.

We offer unlimited call recording duration and an unlimited number of phone calls per month. You can comfortably make thousands of recordings per month without any restrictions.

Typically, our recordings are processed within a few seconds. However, for longer recordings, it may take a few minutes before they are ready to be listened to. To receive real-time updates about your recordings being ready, make sure to subscribe to our push notifications.

If you choose to upgrade to Mimik's subscription plan, which provides unlimited usage of our call recording service on a monthly or yearly basis, you will be charged according to the pricing structure in your country. The app will display the price before you complete the payment. Your Mimik unlimited recording subscription will automatically renew every month or year, and your iTunes account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. If you decide to cancel, remember that any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited. You can manage your subscription settings, including turning off auto-renewal, from your iTunes Account Settings.
